  • Notes  Married:
    • From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 20 Sep 2012):
Banns of Marriage Between Joseph Spurr & Alice Reed were published on the ninth day of April 1775 sixteenth & twenty third days
[Register Entry] No 61 Joseph Spurr of this Parish and Alice Reed of this Parish also were Married in this Church by Banns this second Day of May in the Year One Thousand Seven Hundred and seventy five by me Amos Crumes Junr Vicar
This Marriage was solemnized between Us { Joseph Spurr, Alice Reed
In the Presence of Peter Reed, Michael Knight

I'm pretty sure this is the marriage of this Alice - not so many Alices as some names, but also a witness was Peter Reed and signature looks like that of her father elsewhere and Alice's like her signature (presumably) as a witness at her sister Patty's wedding.

No children of this marriage found - in parishes indexed on FMP on 20 Sep 2012. Probably means they had none, though could have been in a Parish not yet indexed there.
