William Henry Glass ISAAC

-
Name William Henry Glass ISAAC Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Abt 1863 Highampton, Devon, England Gender Male Occupation From 1892 to 1913 Hall Farm, Sampford Spiney, Devon, England Farmer - William appears to have farmed with his father-in-law and then have taken over Hall Farm, probably on his father-in-law's death.
They entered into a 14 year lease together in 1892 for Hall Farm, with the Reverend John Hall Parlby. The rent was then £90 (I guess per annum).
William was still at Hall Farm at the time of the 1911 census, but there was a letting notice for the Farm in 1913, so I guess this is when he left.
The 1892 lease shows William as of "Sampford Barton, Sampford Spiney, farmer" which may seem to suggest he was giving up that farm or taking on two, but the 1891 census shows him as "Farmer Son" - it was his father John Isaac who was the farmer at Sampford Barton, and William and a brother John were farming with their father.
