    Notes
    • Name of husband and son from her father's will. No obvious marriage in indexes on FMP. Not transcribed, mis-transcribed, wrong in original or was she a widow remarrying? If the latter, no marriage to 1st husband transcribed, or mis-t...
      Pos marrs identified from FMP index:
      - John Williams to an Elizabeth Shean, 25 May 1824 at Stoke Damerel; seen image, defiintely Shean, and described as a spinster so not likely to be this marriage;
      - John Williams to an Elizabeth Andrews, 24 March 1827 at Stoke Damerel; although Elizabeth was a widow John was described as a carpenter, rather than a cordwainer.

      In 1814 an Eleanor Spurrell was a witness at the wedding of a Mary Ann Spurrell to Wm Lucas in Stoke Damerel - possibly Mary Ann was another dau of Benjamin (though not mentioned in his will - suggests if she was his dau she may have pre-deceased him). Far from unknown for a cousin to be a witness, though. (Eleanor did have a cousin Mary Ann who could have marr in 1814, though she was bapt in 1777 so older than average for 1st marr)
