Name Mary Ann WILLIAMS Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Abt 1850 Plymouth, Devon, England - Shown as aged 11 in the 1861 census.
Gender Female Residence 1861 Church House Infant School, Sheepstor, Devon, England - With her mother, a widow, who was the school mistress
Residence From 1901 to 1911 Leewood Cottage, Huckworthy Bridge, Sampford Spiney, Devon, England - At Leewood in 1901, and with her mother and step-father and her mother's cousin Jane Spurrell (a boarder). Mary was described as a general domestic servant - whether to her mother and step-father is not clear. I suspect she was a servant to them, though, as when the census was taken in 1911, the year after her mother died, her relationship to the head of household was shown as servant rather than step-daughter! (It is not certain they were still at Leewood as no other details than Huckworthy Bridge was given)
