  • Name Robert HORN
    Relationshipwith Teresa Ann GOATHAM
    Born Abt 1792
    • From age on gravestone, given as 32
    Gender Male
    Died 14 Sep 1824
    • His widow Eleanor remarried on 23 Feb 1832 so he died before then.
The group of Robert and his sons on the same gravestone show that this was the death of the Robert Horn who married Eleanor Spurrell.
The PWDRO description shows Robert as dying in 1821, but that would make it impossible for the sons shown on the gravestone as his to be his. I read it as 1824, with a worn 4.
Buried 19 Sep 1824  The Parish Church, Stoke Damerel, Devon, England See the place on a map and other information about it - if available (many more will be in time); also all individuals with events at this location  [1
    • From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 17 Sep 2012, p.82):
Robert Horn, Marlbro' Street, when buried: September 19 [1824], aged: 32 years, ceremony performed by J. Hawker, Curate (register entry no. 651)

The address (street) matches that of his son 7 mths later, but it is slightly strange that the baptism of his son does not indicate that his father was dead - but the gravestone confirms it.
