Name John George Percey SPURRELL Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Jun Q 1853 Stoke Damerel Reg Dist, Devon, England - GRO ref: Spurrell, John George Percey q2 1853 Stoke D RD 5b 303
(3 Johns born in the Plymouth area 1852-4, but the middle name Percey points to this being the son of Joseph and Mary)
Gender Male Died 3 Jan 1901 Gibralter Hospital, Gibralter [1]
Buried - John was commemorated on the gravestone of his brother Richard Alfred Spurrell at Stoke Damerel burial ground, Milehouse.
After the wording for Richard the stone is inscribed:
[Also?]
John George Spurrell.
brother of the above
who died at Gibralter Hospital.
January 3rd. 1901. Aged 46 years.
Sadly missed
by his loving mother and sister
M. Spurrell and E. Triggs.

Although it is clear that the stone commemorates this John George it is not clear that he was buried there; I suspect he would have been buried in Gib.
