      One of the Elrington sons was born in Selling in 1872; Selling is only about 3 miles from Sheldwich where Charles and family were living in 1871 so I guess they started working for the Elringtons in Kent and moved with them to Hampshire. In 1891 Charles was still working for the Elringtons and living with Esther in Vernon Hill House, but their son, now married, had moved away, though only by about 5 miles.
