    • From Dartmoor Press info - additionally shows alternate date of 13th.

Two grandsons of Robert and Sarah, Robert (son of William) and William (son of John) both gave the middle name "Bounsall" for one or more children. A William Richards married a Sarah Bounsall on 7 Oct 1762 in Sheepstor. In 1764 William Richards was married in Sheepstor. Given that Richards was not a Sheepstor name (the marriage and burial of William, and the marriage of Sarah, are the only Richards events in the Dartmoor Press transcribed data for the parish) I think it almost certain that the William buried in 1764 was the one who had married in 1762, and that it was the widow Sarah who married Robert Andrew. This would explain why Sarah's grandsons gave the name to their children.
