Name John HALKE Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Baptised 27 Jan 1563 All Saints’ Church, Petham, Kent, England - From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 28 Dec 2015)
"John Haucke the sonne of John - 27 of Ja
nuarye" - in section with 1562 in the left margin and 'baptysed' in the right.
(could be 17, I think 27)
Gender Male Died Between 1618 and 1619 - His wife was a widow when Sibill married in 1640, and described as his executrix in a court case in 1638 so he died before then. The will I believe to be his points to his death being 1618 or 1619. Now found her marriage to William Wood - 1619/20, agrees with John dying before this.
Will 15 Mar 1618/19 Written - East Kent wills index entry: Hauke, John of Petham, written: 1618, probate: 1619, register office copy: PRC/17/61/278a, original: PRC/16/165 H/1
Buried 19 Mar 1618/19 All Saints’ Church, Petham, Kent, England - From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 28 Dec 2015)
"John Hauk 19 of March" - under headings '1618' and 'Buried'
Probate 7 Apr 1619 Archdeaconry Court, Canterbury, Kent, England - In 1638 John's wife was described as his executrix in a court case, indicating he left a will. This is the only will I am aware of that could be his. The date shows why there were no more children after 1618.
