Father Mr Nicholas SWAINE, d. 23 Oct 1760 Mother Abigail HALKE, b. 26 Feb 1707/08, bur. 11 Sep 1772, St. Mary the Virgin Church, Hastingleigh, Kent, England (Age ~ 64 years) Marriage License 21 Apr 1728 - "Swaine, Nicholas, ba., and Abigail Halke spr., both of Hastingleigh. At S. Alphage, Cant. or H. April 21, 1728"
(from Cowper Sixth Series, col. 408)
Married 22 Apr 1728 St. Alphege’s Church, Canterbury, Kent, England - From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 5 Aug 2015)
"[April] 22 Nicholas Swaine & Abigail Halke of Hastingleigh wth Lic[ence]" - under heading 'From March 25 1728 to March 25 1729'
It is clear that this Abigail married between her Halke grandfather, Thomas, writing his will in 1725 and addeing a codicil to his will on 3 June 1728, and he actually names her husband, which confirms that it was this Abigail who married as shown here.
Thomas changed his will because he was going to leave £100 pounds to Abigail, but gave it to her during his life instead.
