The George who I show as her brother left her a bequest - "... unto Joone Solly the wife of Thomas Solly ...", but unlike his children and wife doesn't describe his link to her. She is not shown as a widow so was probably not his widowed mother. Her probable children, (described in her marriage notes), also indicate a younger woman. It seems most likely that Jone was a sister of George, but could have been more distant; since she appears to have been some years younger maybe she was a niece. Richard Sackett, George's brother-in-law by his wife Alice Sackett whom he married in 1571, left 40/- to Joan, as he did to one of Alice's step-daughters. Younger sister, niece or some other relation, maybe Jone was orphaned at a young age and brought up in George's household.
Gender Female Bequest 1604 In the will of Richard Sackett - Jone was one of two people left much smaller bequests that the others in this will. Both were relations of George Wildbore, who was the brother-in-law of Richard Sackett, but with no known blood link to Richard. (All those left larger bequests were linked by blood).

There were 6 'Solly' children, father Thomas, baptised in Ash next Sandwich between 1591 and 1603 (no children of a Thomas baptised there before 1591).
There are no other marriages of a Thomas Solly near Ash between 1581 and 1591 in the index on FMP 9as at 23 Dec 2019) so it seems probable that these were the children of this Thomas and Jone.
