  	I have found no evidence of Hedley ever having lived anywhere else. In 1911, now married but no children by the time of the census, the birth of his first-born was sufficiently close (just 5 days after the census) that a monthly nurse was already present.

  	From admission and withdrawal register (image on FMP, viewed 12 Sep 2020) The record shows that he was presented in successive years from 1893 to 1898 in the Standards I to VI. One of the relatively small number who started school at about the same time who stayed at the school for his education, and of those one of the minority who attained standard VI (although one girl did better, attaining the standards a year earlier and getting to standard VII, something the register didn't even have a column for). Clearly Hedley was bright but not the brightest.
