Thank you for publishing your site. It has confirmed some of my research into the Tapner and Holkham (Hacom) families. Henry Tapner and James Holkham are my 5th great grandparents. Best wishes.

Hello Teresa, I came across your website by accident while searching my ancestor James Willcocks, James was the brother of my direct ancestor Richard Willcocks and while Richards brother Ambrose owned Didham farm James had the lease on cuxton farm directly across the road but unfortunately died in 1836 so his wife Jenny Willcocks(seccombe) is listed in the 1841 tythe appointments as the lease. I my records many of the Willcocks family are mentioned as working on both farms, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and grand children so yes I agree your James must be related to mine somehow. My Willcocks family in Buckland Monachorum goes back to Simon Willcocks in Sheepstor around 1670. There are 10 or more Willcocks Buried in Sheepstor and 22 in Buckland Monachorum.
Cheers and all the best

Mark

Congratulations on an excellent website and some superb research; your diligence is ideal motivation for our own delving. We found your pages during a google of John Jope (married Mary Glanville within your tree). Our own research into the Jopes et al continues to expand. Links to your tree is very helpful. Thank you.

I'm also related to the Belletts listed in your extremely impressive and well documented web site. Wow. Thank you. I'm related to Mary Bellett bpt. 26 April 1807 in Blackawton who married John May 19 Aug. 1828. Their daughter, Margaret Howell May, married Charles Cumming and they moved to Massachusetts, USA, which is the state where I was born.

Hi there
I stumbled across your site (which is very well compiled) chasing up a loose end in my family tree. My maternal grandmother's younger sister Phoebe Robinson married Bernard Richard Inman. I have gathered quite a bit on Phoebe's (& Margaret's ancestry) including a very likely connection to the gentry Inman family of Pateley Bridge. I had thought, knowing Bernard was well-heeled, that he'd be in direct line from them but that appears not the case.
Do get in touch if you'd like me to provide more information.
Best Wishes
Rik

Just starting on the journey to find my relations. Your website has been a tremendous help. My great Grandfather is mentioned in your website. He left England in 1885 and sailed to Australia. he had six children, one of whom is my grand mother.

Many thanks

Barrie

Not a relative or genealogist, as it happens, but a musician who came here through trying to find out who Frederick George Charrosin was - google brought me to your site ([www.teresa-goatham.me.uk]), as well as the RFS one you link to.

We're planning on playing one of his works in a couple of weeks (see [www.classicalevents.co.uk]). Thanks for filling in some gaps for the programme notes!
