That is, of course, provided there have been no <a class="fakelink" title="non-paternity events">NPEs</a> or research errors, either in the line back from the test taker to Richard, or in any other paternal line down from Richard. Most English and a few others I believe to be paternal line descendants can be found on his descendants' chart (note: a large majority but not all Goathams on this chart are paternal line descendants - if you are interested in whether a particular descendant is check there are no women in the line). I think many (most?) US Gothams descend from Richard via 'John-the-emigrant'. Are you a paternal line descendant of John?
