Notes - Notes written out by Marian Ray, based on pages written about the Vogwills by her mother Marian Adeline (Warriner) Raynham. Most of the information was based on notes taken down by Marian Ray in the 1930's from the reminiscing of Emily (Vogwill) Warriner (the mother of Marian Raynham).
The sheets are:
1. outline family trees of some of the descendants of George Vogwill (info. from granddaughter Hannah) and of Henry Vogwill (inf. from granddaughter Emily and her dau Marian)
2. Vogwill photos
(a) Henry I and his wife
(b) Henry II and wife (?)
(c) George
(d) George and Maria
(e) Maria
(f) Emmanuel
(g) Johanna
(h) "G'ma Piper" (Johanna's mother)
3,4,5. 3 pages of typed notes - intro, info about the families of Henry I and his children Henry II and the 3 daughters.
6. A seemingly unrelated document about a Tynemouth grave inscription [I believe this relates to a Northumberland family of Vogwells who, if related to the Vogwells on this tree, must be very distantly connected]
7. A handwritten page about Emmanuel Vogwill and Johanna Piper
8,9. 2 more pages of typed notes - info about the family of George Vogwill, son of Henry I.
10. Photocopy of page from George Vogwill's notebook (dated 1886)
11. Photo and plan of flats built by Matthew and Emily (Vogwill) Warriner on George Vogwill's land.
12. Page of handwritten notes about Maria Langler, wife of George Vogwill.
13. Photocopy of letter to Marian Raynham from Hannah Ash (nee Vogwill), written in 1947
(in source details I refer to pages as numbered above)
