  	Hale Henry. 17 February. The Will of Henry Hale formerly of Tor Cross in the County of Devon but late of 4 Manvers-place in the City of Bath Gentleman who died 2 February 1874 at 4 Manvers-place was proved at the Principal Registry by Louisa Pike of Tor Cross Spinster the sole Executrix. Effects under £600. [note hand written  in the index] "Admon (with Will) of Goods unadministered passed at the Principal Registry September 1877" The will was proved very quickly, only a fortnight after Henry died. Since Henry had lived in a number of places why was Torcross picked out as a former residence? - I guess the will described him as "of Torcross" and this was the reason. Louisa is described as "of Torcross" rather than "of Bath" - had she and Henry parted or did she move back to her family as soon as he died?
