  Baptised	Is this the right father for John? ** I don't know ** It's easy to assume this is "my" John's father, because his is the only baptism to fit in the Herne PRs. But around the same time as "my" John had his family a George and a Nicholas had families baptised in Herne, and I've not found baptisms for either of them! Nor for Joane. They could have been baptised before the register starts, or in another parish. And so could my John - with such a common name there were probably several around. Need to: 1. check this one didn't die in infancy; 2. look for other candiates 3. check wills - unfortunately there doesn't seem to be one for Leonard
