    • Rebecca was living with her husband James in 1871, in Leewood Cottage.
      In 1881 also present were her first cousin Jane (daughter of her uncle, Thomas Spurrell), who had been next door in 1817, and who was now a lodger, a general servant, Catherine Newcombe, and a visitor, farm labourer Thomas Reed.
      Cousin Jane was not present at the time of the 1891 census but we may assume still lived there, since she was shown as a visitor in the house she was in on census night, and was back in Leewood for the 1901 census. A servant was again present, one Maria Symons, as well as a niece of James - 8 year old Bertha Pengelly, who is on this tree by virtue of her mother having been a Northmore, James Andrew's half sister, born after James' mother married Richard Northmore.
      Still at Leewood in 1901, and still with her husband and her cousin Jane Spurrell (now a boarder), also present now was her daughter by her first marriage, Mary Ann Williams, a general domestic servant - whether to her mother and step-father is not clear.
      Since Rebecca's husband, daughter and cousin were still living together in 1911 at Huckworthy Bridge it seems reasonable to suppose Rebecca lived there to the end of her life, although it is not certain they were still at Leewood.
