      Why do I believe it was this John who marr Rosamond?Could also have been John bapt 1725 or 1735 Bickleigh (note: parents bur Meavy). One bapt 1735 probably less likely from Rosamond's age.

      I think probably more likely this John as he had a brother Joseph and called a son Joseph (possibly godfather to his son - children were often named after godparents)
