  	There were Walter Ws born 1842 and 1843 in Plympton St M RD, and another b 1846 in Tavistock RD, as well as other further afield, but this was the only one born in 1842/4 in Tavistock RD so I did think the death of an 83 year old Walter Willcocks in Tavistock RD in 1926 might well be his, although I hadn't found him in the area in censuses after 1861. Now the 1921 census is available it seems that a Torquay-born Walter was living in Lydford parish (i.e. in Tavistock RD) at that time, and the death almost certainly his. In addition my mother's late cousin Bill Bailey researched this family and found that this Walter emigrated to Australia and died there (see his evidence here).
