Name Ann GLOYEN Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Abt 1761 - From age at death in burial register (if I have the burials of the 2 Anns the right way around)
Gender Female Died 6 Mar 1836 Chaddlehanger, Lamerton, Devon, England
- Assuming Ann died at home. Date from gravestone (I think this is the date - not clear in my pic)
Buried 9 Mar 1836 St. Peter’s Church, Lamerton, Devon, England - Anne Ellis, abode: Chaddlehanger, aged 74
Is this the right death?
Her brother in laws wife, also Ann, also seems to have died in 1836. The other Ann was aged 80 i.e. was much closer to James in age, while the one who died aged 74 was close to John in age.
However, I think it more likely that the 2 who died at Chaddlehanger were husband and wife, and the 2 who died in the village were also husband and wife.
Although I have photo of the grave unfortunately you can't see the date of this Ann's burial. I will aim to go back on a future visit to Devon to check it.
