Several Williams bapt in Blackawton 1790s - 1803 who could be the one who married 1824 and was father of Bartholomew. Would expect to be a nephew of Bartholomew (bapt 1775) rather than more distant connection due to choice of name, but that still means more than one William.
I think it likely this Wm, son of Geo, because although a bit young to marry the son Bartholomew was living in house with this Wm's sister's son's widow and dau in 1841 (in Dartmouth)
