Apprentice on Farm - Shown as John Campin, an Apprentice, in the 1841 census, living in the "Cumrew Cottage", the house of farmer Samuel Connabeer and his family so presumably learning the work of an ag lab. Also present was a James Gater, shown as F.S. - I suspect the ennumerator had forgotten that in this census that was supposed to mean Female Servant and used it for Farm Servant. (Similar found in previous house)
Cumerew Cottage is fairly near, less than half a mile, from Venton Cottage, where John's father and brothers were living at the time of the census.
