  	From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 8 May 2012): under "Burials ... Whitechurch ... 1843" - "Jane Marrack Vogwill, abode Morwellham, buried March 21st., age 45, ceremony performed by P. Sleeman Vicar" Morwellham was in Tavistock Parish, so the fact Jane was buried in Whitchurch is presumably due to her prior connection with the parish. She may have been buried in a family grave. A Richard Marrick Nicholas was buried in Whitchurch in 1837 aged 38 - quite likely Jane's brother. (FMP index shows he was buried the year after Jane, in 1800)

  	Can't find a marriage for George and Jane on FMP; if they married in Devon would probably be there (DFHS index transcripts at least), but may have been in a non-conformist chapel not included or over the border in Cornwall. Also not found baptism of their son John - could be for same reasons as above, or if they weren't married or he was born before they married could have been baptised as John Nicholas. (He was shown as born Devon in the 1841 census, though, and I believe was the John shown in subsequent censuses as born in Tavistock)
