Madehurst and Houghton are neighbouring parishes, with the villages from which the parishes are named about 2.4 miles apart.
(I'm not sure if the Christian name of the widow is not clear - in which case seeing the entry may tell me if it could be Elizabeth - or, as I suspect, the burial is just recorded as being that of 'widdow Tapner'.)
