    Notes
    • (Research):There were 2 marriages of spinsters Elizabeth, in 1758 and 1759 which I think must be this Elizabeth and her first cousin, daughter of her uncle David.
The witnesses give a clue as to which was which.
The marriage of an Elizabeth to Daniel Fedarb in 1758 was witnessed by  Isaiah Dernacour and Jacob Fedarb; this Elizabeth had a brother-in-law Isaiah.

The marriage to a James Gascoin in 1759 was witnessed by David and Sarah Charrossin, which ties in with Elizabeth the daugher of David and Martha, who had siblings with these names. In addition James and Elizabeth named their first child Martha, probably in memory of Elizabeth's mother who had died about 2 years earlier.

There are also banns for a marriage of a Lazarus Smith of Sturry to an Elizabeth Charrosain (Cherryton); I am not sure if the marriage occurred but in any case the Sturry banns show that Elizabeth was a widow.
