  	Actual date from baptism register. Age in 1851 census, given as 62, suggests a birth in 1788 or 1789. Burial register shows her as 75 in 1860, i.e. born about 1784 or 5. Looking through the many Solly baptisms at St. John's Margate (on the KFHS CD 28) there was a Mary born late 1784, baptised 1785; the nearest to 1788 was baptised 1790; either seem possibilities. However, I believe the evidence is in the names of the children of Mary and her first husband Stephen. The Mary baptised in 1790 was the daughter of Isaac and Rebecca. They gave the middle name Peak(e) to several of their children, including Mary, it being Rebecca's maiden name (Isaac Solly of Margate married Rebecca Peake of St Lawrence (Ramsgate) in St. Lawrence on 24 Dec 1775 - info from KFHS CD 29). Mary and Stephen named their first child Rebecca, and then (probably after this daughter had died) named a later one Rebecca Peake.
