Perrott Esquire- and made Oath, that he is of the parish of Saint Dunstan Stepney in the County of Middlesex a Bachelor aged twenty one years and updwards
[initials or scribble(?) in left margin] and intendeth to intermarry with ^ Mary Joanna Issell of the Town of Plymouth in the County of Devon a Spinster a Minor aged seventeen years and upwards by and with the consent of Elizabeth Issell Widow the natural and lawful Mother of the said Minor and that he knoweth of no lawful Impediment, by reason of any Pre-contract, Consanguinity, Affinity, or any other lawful Cause whatsoever, to hinder the said intended Marriage, and prayed a Licence to solemnize the same in the Parish Church of Saint Dunstan Stepney aforesaid [the following printed on form] and further made Oath, that the usual Place of Abode of him thus Appears hath been in the said Parish of Saint Dunstan Stepney for the Space of four Weeks last past. Then appeared personally the said Elizabeth Issell of the Town of Plymouth aforesaid and made oath that she is a Widow and the natural and lawful Mother of the said Minor and is consenting to the above intended Marriage between the aforesaid Parties and that there is not any Testamentary or other Guardian lawfully appointed to the said Minor -
