Notes - (Research):Arthur and Jenny were both children of Philip and Jenny HORTONs baptised in Cornwood in 1801. Arthur's father shown as a carpenter, Jenny's as a farmer. Also, Philip and Jenny nee Norris had had a dau Jenny in 1793; looking at marriage and census records that Jenny appears still to have been living so it seems most probable that they were Arthur's parents while the other Philip and Jenny were the parents of Jenny.i

Father Philip HORTON, b. Est 1750, d. Yes, date unknown Mother Jenny NORRIS, d. Yes, date unknown Married 1784 - I'm not really interested in this couple - I have just added them and their children to help me sort out which children belong to this Philip and Jenny, which to the couple who married in 1799, during the years when both were having children.
(And inevitably, 1 or 2 of the children of this couple DO belong on this tree as they married Northmore cousins)
