    • Fry's Calendar shows that a will of a Walter Narramore of West Teignmouth was proved in the Consistory Court in 1754, and also the same or a different will but same details (Walter of West Teignmouth in 1756).
      I believe both entries refer to a will of this Walter. He died in 1754 so it is likely his will would be proved that year, and it is quite likely his wife was an executrix, alone or with others. If so, administration of the will may well not have been complete when she died late in 1755, which would have necessitated it being proved again.
      This would seem to explain the second entry in Fry.
      (Like most Devon wills this will would have been lost in WW2; no copy or abstract is known to survive)
