      No comment 'wife of ...' or 'widow' to link the entry to this Catherine. However, the only burial of a Catherine Shepherd in Thurlestone (checking using FMP search engine, and selecting variant spellings for both names  I'm not sure of the coverage). Also, searching for Catherines bapt 1757+/-40 years (Thurlestone only) found no Catherines so it appears not to have been a young child named after grandmother.
