[1] - William Bickford and his wife Elizabeth were involved in a dispute over the will of William Wotton, Elizabeth's uncle, in 1700, hence I'm fairly sure this is the marriage of the right Elizabeth Ford. The only other possibility would be her mother, but her father seems to have died about 6 months after this marriage. Unless I have the wrong burial for Richard ...

Under heading '1697' - "William Bickford of Dertmouth South Town and Elizabeth Ford of Black-anton January the Twentye"
Date might be twenty something - looks like edge of reigster has been trimmed off at some time, I guess to remove decay, as it is clear that in other entries parts of words are missing. (A copy of the register shows 20th but was it made after or before the page deteriorated?)
