Gender Male Died Yes, date unknown Notes - (Research):Could have been the son of a William Ewen and so named his son William; there was an unnamed wife of a William Ewen buried on 12 Sep 1668. This might have been the William who was buried on 12 July 1672, noted on the register as aged 80, clearly an achievement considered worth noting (no other ages given on that page in the register, which recorded no less than 43 burials). If accurate that would mean William was born 1591 or 2, and could well be John's father.
