Have looked at all names beginning Go in Stokenham, and to a lesser extent the wider neighbourhood at this time - found none to match.
Co(o)me was found in Stokenham at this time. Although the G in this name was not like a C, some other Gs in nearby entries are of a different style, similar to some Cs. If the register was written up from a note it may not have been clear and so an error made.
