  Notes	KFHS CD 16 shows a blank space where the father's name should be, though there is no comment that John was illegitimate. Was a space left because the clerk has forgotten the father's name, or was it illegible - or simply no comment made? There was a comment that Susan was "poor" (I guess this means receiving help) The IGI shows John as having a father called John, but I think it probable that his mother was the Susan shown here.
