      In the same house were 2 governesses, Carrolien and Emma Ball, both with rounded down ages of 20, the reason for their presence not clear in a household with no children. Also present were two female servants, Eliza May, aged 20, and Charlotte Parker, aged 14, and also aged 14, an ag lab William West.

      There was also a Mary buried in 1806: from PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 4 Aug 2014) "February 8th _ Mary Endacott" - under heading 'Burials 1806' but I think that was a different Mary, both because the above burial fits and because a Mary Endacott who was probably this one was with her mother and siblings at the time of the 1841 census.
