  	I think the marriage was most likely in the period 1648-1652 when there were very few recorded in the PRs for Slapton. (FMP have few indexed for a few years after this but Boyd has more, I have not yet found out why / how). It could, though, have taken place in another parish. Mostly I have the children of Richard and Alse by using the FMP index. I have browsed through all the entries page by page from 1653 to 1662 for any other, especially a son Richard, but without joy.
