Mary BARNES
Set As Default Person -
Name Mary BARNES Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Bequest 1721 Remembered by her great grandfather Michael Rickson - Mary was remembered in his will by her great grandfather, Michael Rickson. However, Mary did not live to receive the bequest. About 3 weeks after he wrote his will and before he died Mary herself died.
Born Bef 2 Aug 1721 - born before her grandfather wrote his will
Gender Female Died - Being left a bequest in her great grandfather's will, written 2 Aug 1721, shows she was still alive then. Her great grandfather, like Mary and her family, lived in Faversham (he possibly even lived with the Barns family), so it seems safe to assume he would have been quick to her of her death.
Her parents named another daughter Mary in 1727 so it seems safe to assume she had died by then, and so the 1721 burial of an infant Mary Barnes fits well.
There is no other death of a Mary Barnes in the FMP index to Faversham PRs between the 2 dates and also no other Barnes families seem to have been in Faversham having children at this time.
