William Henry KELLOND
Set As Default Person -
Name William Henry KELLOND Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born - William's baptism was about 6 months after Rebecca had given birth to a still-born child, so it seems probable that he was born before then, sometime between the marriage of William and Rebecca in 1818 and about the end of 1820.
It took them 5 years to get around to having their son Robert baptised. Given that they named another son William in 1823 I suspect that this William had died by then; it may well have been that they were prompted to get him baptised in 1822 because he wasn't thriving, although it appears to have been an order Sunday baptism, not an emergency one.

- From PR entryWas the marriage this William or his cousin? - his father's will suggests that his cousin William, son of his uncle Samuel, may have been in the London area.
The death of a William in 1831 shows an age suggesting a birth in 1788 or 9; that fits with the William son of Robert and Jane i.e. this William.
And Pallot's marriage index shows that a widow Rebecca Kellond married in 1831 - I guess that was the widow of William, and hence this William.
