Family William WOTTON, b. Abt 1544, d. Bef 1570 (Age ~ 25 years) Married - An entry in a College of Arms book when Elizabeth's father died shows that she had married the Wotton heir but that he had died without issue (before her father). A transcription of the entry shows his name as Edward. That doesn't fit this family. However, the notice also shows that Silvester married 'Edward's' brother Walter. That bit not only fits, the 1620 heralds' visitation shows that it was Walter the brother of this William.
This William is missing, with no children shown, implying he died without issue between his grandfather writing his will (1554) and 1620.
I think there has been a transcription error somewhere, probably with what the College of Arms recorded, and the entry in their book should read William (in place of Edward).
The College of Arms entry can be seen on this webpage.
