Abt 12 Oct 1587Married 1599 St. Gregory by St. Pauls, London, England - Sampson's son James, shown in a visitation as son of his wife Jane, was probably not born until 1595 at the earliest, suggesting Sampson married Margaret after that.
With Sampson Handfield being such an unusual name, and with him having a wife named Margaret when he wrote his will, I'm confident that this London marriage must be his. (on FamilySearch and in Boyd's index)
