John SMITH
Set As Default Person -
Name John SMITH Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Abt 1648 - From age on grave slab
Gender Male Occupation Woollen draper - Described as such on his grave slab
Died 11 May 1715 - From grave slab set in the floor of Faversham Parish Church (seen 1 July 2015). Although this is now (I think, from memory) in the South transept it is clear that memorials have been moved over the years, and it would be unsafe to assume the remains of John and his wife and son are under the slab.
Buried 17 May 1715 St. Mary of Charity Church, Faversham, Kent, England

So far as I am aware I am not a blood relation of John or his wife and family.
They are on my tree because:
1. the 3rd wife of my likely ancestor Michael Rickson, Mary [maiden name unknown], described the sons of John and Susanna as 'cozen' and left them bequests of £10 each in her will (written 1695)
2. Mary also described Susanna as 'cozen' and made her executrix of her will
2. Michael Rickson himself described John and Susanna's son George Smith as 'my very Good Friend' and made him one of the executors of his will.
