    • GRO ref: Chalklin, Thomas to Longford, Eliza q2 1858 Malling RD 2a 501
      Place from GOONS marriage index.
Details from PR entry (image on CityArk, PDF 1, PDF p.11)
Shows Thomas Chalklin, of full age, Bachelor, engineer, resident Wouldham, father Daniel Chalklin, a labourer
      married
Eliza Longford, aged 17 years, Spinster, [no occupation given], resident Wouldham, father William Longford, a publican.
Both signed (as Thomas Chalklen and Eliza Langford), as did witnesses, William Langford and Mary Masters.

The 1911 census shows that Thomas and Eliza had had 10 children, 2 of whom had by then died. The deaths appear not to have been in Malling RD, I have not looked for the children after they left home to work out which had died, etc.
