Residence From 1613 Headcorn, Kent, England - The family appear to have moved from Ulcombe to Headcorn between 1609 (when daughter Elizabeth was baptised in the former) and 1613/14 (when son Robert was baptised in the latter).
Adrian was 'of Headcorn' when he died, according to probate accounts.
Died Between 1613 and 1618 - He had a daughter born about 1614 and his widow remarried in 1619.
Probate accounts of an Adiran Barling of Headcorn were presented in court in 1618 - I'm sure they must be of this Adrian (on my 'to do' list).
It would be unsafe to assume Adrian died in 1618, as it could take years to complete the administration.
(It seems clear it was a different Adrian who was of Frittenden and who left a will 1610/11).

Est 1550, d. 1602, Ulcombe, Kent, England (Age ~ 52 years) (Mother) Notes - (Research):I thought this Adrian might be the one had married Sara Maple in Ulcombe on 16 Apr 1604, but as an Adrian Barling of Ulcombe left a will in 1562 'Adrian' was clearly a family name and so it would be unsafe to assume this. Looking at the Barling ONS data that identifies Adrian of Frittenden who wrote a will 1610 as the one who married Sara, refers to children named in will matching children of that Adrian.

Barling One-Name study shows 3 generations back from Adrian but notes against his marriage to Joyce Butcher that it may not be the right Adrian.

(East Kent marriage index shows both as of the parish of Canterbury St Andrew, but this must be assumed because no other parish is mentioned - it is not stated in the register. The East Kent marriage index, at least as shown on FMP, always seems to show the place of the marriage as where the bride and groom were resident in the absence of other information, but it is clear from other sources e.g. where a wedding was by licence, that this was far from always the case)

Shows Adrian Barling of Ulcombe married Joyce Butcher also of Ulcombe.
Ulcombe PRs do not yet appear to be available online (neither images not indexed / transcribed data) and I have not yet looked at them at an archives office, so I have not seen an entry for the baptism of Frances. There were a number marriages of Barlings of Ulcombe in the years shortly before the birth of Frances so this is why I think her parents were Adrian and Joyce:
The marriage licence for the marriage of their daughter Frances shows that consent was given by [blank] Godfrey alias Barling. An alias in a parent's name usually means that it was a widowed and remarried mother shown with her surnames from both marriages.
There is a licence for the marriage of a widow Joyce Barling to a Daniel Godfrey in 1619, showing her as 'late wife of Adrian (?) Barling of Headcorn'. Neither Adrian nor Joyce are particularly common Christian names, so the remarriage was almost certainly Joyce the mother of Frances, and this marriage her previous one.
The KFHS transcribed data shows a Sara, dau of Adery, baptised in Frittenden on 22 May 1609; he was buried in Frittended on 5 Jan 1609/10 (again shown as daughter of Adery). The Barling study shows here as daughter of Adrian of Frittenden who died 1610 or 1611, which makes sense given the location.
