From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 28 Mar 2016; found by browsing, in mixed register for 1565-1627, img 28)
"Robert Barning & Margeret Brysenden _ xxvii June" - under heading 'Mariage ao 1576'
(Archive reference U3/5)
Another register has entry (image on FMP, viewed 28 Mar 2016; found by browsing, not in index - in mixed register for 1564-1711, img 10)
"Robert Barminge & Margeret Brisenden - 27 June" - under heading 'Marriage Anno Di 1576'
(East Kent marriage index shows both as of the parish of Canterbury St Andrew, but this must be assumed because no other parish is mentioned - it is not stated in the register. The East Kent marriage index, at least as shown on FMP, always seems to show the place of the marriage as where the bride and groom were resident in the absence of other information, but it is clear from other sources e.g. where a wedding was by licence, that this was far from always the case)
