      I'm not sure if Harry was around to father Daisy, although he is named as her father at her baptism (as an adult) and on her marriage PR entry. It may just be what she had been told. See Sarah Ann and Harry's marriage notes for an explanation of my uncertainty.

      Name of father and age of Harry Knight, as well as his occupation, fit with the Harry baptised in Lurgashall and the one in the navy. Father's occupation not right - land steward (Harry's baptism record shows labourer, and 1871 census  labourer and hoop maker) but this was often exaggerated.

      It seems clear the Daisy L V Knight who married Frederick Clark was this Daisy. The marr PR entry names her father as Harry, her name had been registered at birth as Daisy Laura, but Violet was added by the time she was baptised, and her death registration as a CLARK under both names reflects this and there seems to be no other Daisy Laura Violet KNIGHT.
