- Agnes's 2nd husband Charles Skirrett left bequests to 2 daughters of hers, who he names as Judith and Ann 'Edmond als Knight'.
This alias appears to have been in the Edmond family for sometime, as in Tavistock in 1617 there was a burial of a 'Thomas EDMUND als KNIGHT'.
Was Agnes's first husband William Edmond?
Looking for the father of a Judith and Ann in Tavistock PRs a William had daughters Judith and Ann, a Walter just Judith. Could it be Walter and the baptism of his daughter Ann missing or elsewhere? Both William and Walter were buried in 1643 so if Agnes had been married to either she would have been free to marry again. However, whilst the baptism register at that time does not show the mothers' names, the marriages of Walter and William both seem to be in the PRs - and Walter was married to a Marian Gustcote.
Hence it seems to safe to assume Agnes was married to William.
