      This seems a likely baptism as the date is close to that suggested by his first marriage licence, and Bekesbourne is very close to Patrixbourne.
      In addition, George named his first son Thomas.
      Thomas had married widow Abigail Gedney in 1632. In 1664 Abigail was buried in Patrixbourne, having died leaving a will. Seeing this should confirm whether George was her son.

      Marriage not in Hackington nor Swalecliffe PRs, but there are no marriages in Swalecliffe PRs between 1678 and one in 1688 - are some missing (on the same page so no suggestion pages are missing, and different handwritings so it doesn't appear to be a transcribed version of older PRs)? Also, PRs for Hoath miss marriages for a few years including 1688.

      Susan would have been a widow by this time so able to remarry, and I haven't found another Susan who could have married George Taylor at this time.
