  Interesting to see that William Baker was born 'Feversham' (an old spelling for Faversham). Was he an older brother of Walter? It suggests an earlier link between the Baker family and Faversham. With Walter shown as 'Captain son' it may suggest that his father was captain of a barge or hoy that journeyed between Faversham and London, much transport of goods being then by water rather than road, who had decided to relocate his home from Faversham to London.
