    • Her death is a bit of a puzzle. One source says George and Susan set off for New Zealand with 5 children; if accurate this would mean she was still alive. And there is no sign of her in Bredgar St. John the Baptist burial register or  in the death index (FreeBMD). But one tree has a date and place of death as 6 Feb 1840 in Bredgar.
